## Stenox 2.0

* **Meetings with Notetaker.** Capture microphone and system audio, follow speaker-labeled conversations, and keep insights, personal notes, references, and answers together. Preparation questions guide insights, which you can also generate on demand. [Explore Notetaker](/meetings/overview).
* **Audio and video transcription.** Turn files into transcripts, with speaker labels and timed exports where the selected provider supports them. [Transcribe a file](/setup/file-transcription).
* **Dictation first, Polish when you choose.** Get your words into an app, then request an optional rewrite. Copy and Undo help you review the result; filler removal has its own setting. [Try dictation](/first-dictation).
* **Local and cloud choices.** Choose on-device speech and AI models, your own supported provider keys, or a connected subscription for meeting insights. Speech and insight processing have separate selections. [Choose providers](/providers/overview).
* **Updated setup and recovery.** Onboarding prepares your selected local speech model. Recover access to saved provider and licensing credentials from Settings. [Installation](/installation) · [Access recovery](/guides/upgrading#recover-provider-and-license-access).
* **An optional V2 upgrade.** Try the full app for seven days. Valid earlier paid licenses cover V2 without another purchase and retain their original rights and device allowance. Existing free V1 installations remain usable. [Release and access](/pricing/overview) · [Upgrade guide](/guides/upgrading).
